Hello there! Iām Juliusz Slaski, a footwear designer hungry to make a mark in the footwear industry. I have a special interest in the instersection of art and science, or fashion and performance in footwear; I seek both aesthetic and functional excellence in my work.
After graduating from the University of Alberta in 2018, I pursued several footwear-related education experiences, including internships and masterclasses at adidas, New Balance, Poppy Barley and cycling brand Showers Pass.
From 2021 to 2025, I worked at Bata under both the Power Athletics and Weinbrenner Outdoor brands. Beginning as Junior Footwear Designer and Developer in the run + walk category, I eventually took over the role of Global Design Manager and Lead Footwear Designer, Weinbrenner.
Following a short stint in Montreal at Pajar Canada, I moved to Denver and joined Altra Running as Footwear Designer II working primarily on Road and Road Race product..
I believe that the pursuit of new ideas, technologies, materials, aesthetics, and elevated user experience are vital elements of good footwear design.
I am currently located in Denver, Colorado.
